MEDICAL DIRECTOR AND QUALITY ADVISOR

Dr Raymond Gottschalk is a sleep disorders specialist, respirologist and internist. He has been the Medical Director and Quality Advisor of the Sleep Disorders Clinic since 1994 and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine, as well as the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is the site lead at the Frid Street location in the sleep medicine fellowship training programme for McMaster University. He is an assessor on behalf of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario in respiratory and sleep medicine, and has participated in development of the Clinical Practice Parameters and Facility Standards for IHF services in Sleep Medicine and Respiratory Medicine practice for the CPSO IHF program for the past 3 publications. He was co-chair for the last 2 publications. He is medical director for Vitalaire Canada. He participates in advisory boards in sleep medicine and has supervised the research undertakings in the Sleep Disorders Clinic of Hamilton validating new technologies in sleep medicine diagnostics.
